Caloosa Saddle Club

Welcome to the Caloosa Saddle Club web site!

Caloosa Saddle Club is just a group of Southwest Florida people that love their horses and trail rides.  Membership is required to participate in the trail rides.

September 2010 Trail Tails

I don't know about the rest of you, but my summer has flown, cooler weather and a nice riding season are just around the corner.  Be thinking about where you would like to ride and let us know.

With a "so far" quiet hurricane season, don't let your guard down.  Be sure and be prepared!!  If you need help in planning let me know, I have some disaster planning brochures.

Our first meeting after summer break, we will have a guest speaker.  Dr. Scoma is an equine chiropractor (he does dogs as well) who will be give a presentation.  Let’s have a great turn out for this informative presentation.  Spread the word and bring a friend. Let’s get this year off on the right foot!

Stay Safe & Happy Trails to All!

Our September speaker will be Dr. Scoma. He has his own practice and is a chiropractor. He has been working on large animals and wants to expand his business and meet more of the equestrian people in this area. You won't want to miss his informative presentation.

The Caloosahatchee Regional Park north side trails are open.  There are still some wet spots along the trails so use caution. The park evaluates the trail conditions often. Please check their website before you head out as they keep it updated if there are any closures.

Important Club News - Instead of an elected president this year, we will be asking members to choose a month and be the monthly chairperson. This will include helping plan the speaker for the monthly meetings, possibly lead a club trail ride and write the president's message (someone else can write if you don't feel you are a good writer). We have lots of people who can help find the right speaker, if you can just provide the topic. Please e-mail the club at caloosasaddleclub@caloosasaddleclub.com if you would like to take a month. August and September are covered. This will be a way for members to get involved and take it a month at a time.

Caloosa Saddle Club meets the 1st Thursday of every month at 7:30 PM
at the North Fort Myers Fire Station on Nalle Road
